Ayurveda consultations and massages are offered at extra cost.
Can I join a retreat alone?+
Yes, absolutely. Most of your fellow participants travel alone and leave as part of a group. Mrityunjay Yogpeeth has a friendly and supportive environment where it's easy to meet like-minded people, but it also gives you the feeling of being with yourself as well. If you’re travelling alone or with a company, you’ll feel supported and accompanied the entire time.
What do I need to take on the retreat?+
We suggest you bring some comfortable clothing for yoga practice, a reusable water bottle, your personal toiletry items if needed and any prescribed medications, as well as a notebook or journal for reflections. Mats and accessories are available, but feel free to bring your own. A light shawl or jacket can be handy in the cooler early mornings and evenings. Older temple visits or spiritual excursions are made easier if you have some modest attire to wear, too.
Is it necessary for me to have experience with yoga to go on a yoga retreat?+
Appropriate for all levels — no yoga experience required. Our retreats are for all levels from absolute beginners. The workout is taught by qualified yoga instructors who offer modifications and personal adjustments. Whether you are new to yoga, or an established practitioner seeking to experience your practice in a deeper way, you will be guided in a safe and welcoming space.
