Yoga Teacher Registry (RYT)
Becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher
Upon successful completion of the teacher training courses at Mrityunjay Yogpeeth-either the 200-hour or 500-hour registered yoga teacher training certification-students become eligible to apply for the RYT 200 or RYT 500 designation, respectively, through Yoga Alliance.
Steps After Completing the Course
- Graduate from an RYS (Registered Yoga School)-like Mrityunjay Yogpeeth
- Create an account on the Yoga Alliance website.
- Submit your training details.
- Get your application reviewed and approved.
- Pay the registration fee and receive your digital certificate.
Maintaining Your RYT Status
To retain your RYT status, Yoga Alliance requires:
- Continuing education (minimum of 30 hours every three years)
- Teaching experience (minimum of 45 hours every three years)
- Adherence to the Yoga Alliance Code of Conduct

Accreditation Process at Mrityunjay Yogpeeth
Enrollment & Application Steps
- Submit your application online with an educational and health background Choose your course – RYT 200 or RYT 500
- Complete payment and receive your welcome kit
- Begin your journey to becoming a certified yoga teacher.
Evaluation and Certification Criteria
- Attendance (minimum 90%)

Continuing Education (YACEP)
What is YACEP?
YACEP stands for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. It is a recognition awarded to schools and teachers offering additional modules that help certified instructors enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
