Tuition and Refund Policy
Effective as of 1 July 2025
1. Tuition Overview
At Mrityunjay Yogpeeth, Rishikesh, we strive to maintain fairness and transparency in our financial policies. By enrolling in any of our yoga teacher training courses, workshops, or retreats, you agree to abide by the following Tuition and Refund Policy.
- All tuition fees are clearly stated on our official website or in official communication with our admissions team.
- Fees cover the cost of training, study materials, accommodation, and meals (if specified in the course package).
- Travel expenses, personal expenses, and other costs not expressly mentioned are the responsibility of the student.
2. Payment Options
To accommodate diverse financial needs, we offer the following payment options:
a. Full Payment
- Pay the total course fee at the time of enrollment.
- Secure your seat immediately.
- Includes booking deposit.
b. Payment Plan
- Split the tuition into 3 instalments over a defined schedule.
- Requires an initial deposit to begin the plan.
- All instalments must be paid before the course start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payment plan arrangements must be discussed and approved in advance.
c. Work/Study Program
- Limited work/study opportunities are available to eligible students.
- Participants assist in school operations in exchange for partial tuition reduction.
- A formal agreement outlining duties, hours, and tuition credit will be signed.
- If the participant withdraws or fails to fulfil agreed-upon duties, full tuition may become due and payable.
3. Refund Policy
We strive to be fair and transparent in our approach to refunds. Please read the following policy carefully:
a. Booking Deposit
- Non-Refundable, but Transferable
- Your booking deposit secures your seat and is not refundable under any circumstances.
- However, if you are unable to attend the course, you may transfer your deposit to a future course within 12 months of the original course date.
- Transfer requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the course start date.
b. Tuition Balance Refunds
Refunds (excluding the non-refundable deposit) are available based on the notice provided:

- No refunds will be provided after the course begins, regardless of attendance or completion status.
- All refund requests must be made in writing and sent to [Insert Email Address].
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from approval.
4. Transfer Policy
- Deposits may be transferred once only to a future training program.
- Transfer must be to a program starting within 12 months of the originally scheduled course.
- No refund will be issued after a transfer is made.
- Failure to attend the transferred course without notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
5. Impact of Payment Options on Refunds
- Payment Plans: If a trainee cancels or withdraws, only the portion of tuition paid (excluding the deposit) will be subject to the refund policy above. Any unpaid balances on a payment plan will not be charged after cancellation, but the deposit remains non-refundable.
- Work/Study Programs: If you do not complete your work/study agreement, any discounted tuition must be repaid based on prorated attendance. Refunds will be calculated from the original full tuition amount.
6. Policy Amendments
Mrityunjay Yogpeeth reserves the right to update or modify this Tuition and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will always be available on our official website.
7. Dismissal from the Course
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
- Mrityunjay Yogpeeth reserves the right to dismiss any student from the program due to misconduct, violation of school policies, or disruptive behaviour.
- In such cases, no refund will be provided.
8. Special Circumstances
In cases of documented medical emergencies or extenuating life events, Mrityunjay Yogpeeth may, at its sole discretion, offer partial credit for future training. This is not guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
